1. Purpose
These General Terms of Use ("GTU") define the conditions for access to and use of the Slowcrossers website (the "Site") and related services.
By browsing the Site or creating an account, you unconditionally accept these GTU.
2. Description of services
Slowcrossers is a platform connecting travelers and notably offers:
- creation and management of a user profile ;
- searching and viewing profiles ;
- sending and managing contact requests ;
- a messaging system between users ;
- map and location features according to your settings ;
- notifications (web/push) according to your choices.
3. Access conditions
Access to the Site is open to any user with the required legal capacity. Some features require account creation.
You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information, and not to impersonate any third party.
4. User account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. You must immediately inform the Publisher of any unauthorized use of your account.
You can delete your account via the Site settings. This will delete all your data.
5. Rules of conduct
You agree to use the Site fairly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In particular, the following are prohibited:
- any illegal, hateful, violent, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or pornographic content ;
- spam, abusive solicitation, scams, or phishing attempts ;
- infringing on other users' privacy ;
- automated data collection without authorization ;
- any behavior aimed at disrupting the Site's security or operation.
6. User-published content
You are solely responsible for the content you publish, transmit, or share on the Site (profile, messages, etc.).
By publishing content, you guarantee that you hold the necessary rights and do not infringe third-party rights.
7. Moderation, reporting, and blocking
The Site provides reporting and blocking features between users. In case of non-compliance with these GTU or legal obligations, the Publisher may take any appropriate action: content removal, temporary suspension, or account deletion.

Some features may display location information depending on your privacy settings and permissions granted on your device/browser.
You are responsible for the information you choose to share with other users.
9. Intellectual property
The Site and all its elements (trademarks, text, graphics, logos, structure, interfaces, code, etc.) are protected by intellectual property rights.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the Publisher, any full or partial reproduction, representation, adaptation, or exploitation is prohibited.

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these GTU at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These GTU are governed by French law. In case of dispute and absent an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have jurisdiction.
